Grapefruit is a citrus fruit that grows on the citrus plant of the same name in the subtropical regions. It is a hybrid plant that originated in Barbados by an accidental cross between the sweet orange and the pomelo. Grapefruit is very beneficial for our health because of the number of nutrients like vitamins,minerals, antioxidants, flavinoids etc. present in them. 

(1) Reduces The Risk of Premature Aging Like Fine Lines, Wrinkles, and Age Spots. Grapefruit is an excellent source of a number of antioxidants and the presence of these antioxidants plays an important role in combating with the signs of aging like fine lines,wrinkles,age spots, dark spots etc. One can enjoy these benefits by eating grapefruits on a regular and moderate basis, and grapefruit can also be topically applied.

(2) Grapefruit is astringent in nature and this makes them very beneficial for combating oily skin. Grapefruit helps in clearing out toxins from our skin and also controls the production of oil and reduces the risk of acne development.

(3) Grapefruit is an excellent source of vitamin C and presence of this vitamin makes them very beneficial for our hair as it strengthens our hair follicles and promotes hair growth.
