Why Oatmeal and Chamomile are the Power Duo For Skin

Aisha Nicole Skincare Tips

Did you know that Chamomile tea has been used by the Romans, Greeks and Egyptians to treat wounds and promote healing? This is because the plant Chamomile is derived from Matricaria chamomilla L, which has anti inflammatory and anti microbial  properties. It also heals skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema when topically applied.

According to a 2012 study, colloidal oatmeal can protect skin and soothe the itchiness and irritation from eczema. The same study indicates that colloidal oatmeal can also act as a buffer to help maintain skin surface pH.

Shop our Lavender and Chamomile natural soap and body butter on the site to reap some of these benefits:)
